The Task Force will:

- Address legal and logistical barriers affecting federal support for the event.
- Manage visa processing for foreign athletes and officials.

The Task Force will operate under the Department of Homeland Security for administrative support.
Agency heads must submit planning reports by October 1, 2025.
The Task Force will dissolve on December 31, 2028, unless extended.
